Reviews of ocean resort and casino

I hadn't brought workout clothes with me, but the fitness room was large with lots of equipment, so if I return to oceans I will make use of it.

The pool was closed, which meant one fewer non-gambling activity during my stay, and it would have been nice to have been offered some kind of compensation such as access to the spa. Check-in was fast but very impersonal and I was not offered bell service for my bag. I asked for a room on a high floor and had a beautiful view of the ocean (the city itself is seedy, so if you're planning a visit go with the knowledge that you'll likely be spending most of your time in the hotel). The casino is too smoky for my taste, and security at the entrance to the guest rooms was nonexistent-either the guard didn't bother checking for people's cards or there was no guard at all. The housekeeping controls by the door were confusing, so one day my room was not cleaned. The hotel was clean, and I felt safe pandemic-wise. For solo travelers like me there are plenty of nooks and crannies to get away from the hustle and bustle of the casino-rocking chairs that overlook the beach, a 360-degree fish tank in the lobby, lots of comfortable seating scattered around common areas. I gave this hotel/casino four stars because overall it's a very nice hotel.
